Lunctime Carillon Concert and Tower Tour

Bring a lunch and listen to the carillon from your car, the church lawn or the Case Western Reserve campus along Bellflower Road. Free parking in the Euclid Avenue lot in front of the tower.

Van Parker holds degrees from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and the Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University. He studied carillon with Larry Weinstein and has served as assistant carillonneur at the 57-bell Deeds Memorial Carillon in Datyon, Ohio. Parker has been a frequent guest carillonneur at the McGaffin Carillon.  He has also performed on the Arter Memorial Carillon at Church of the Saviour in Cleveland Heights and on the Thomas Dry Howie Carillon on the campus of The   Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina.
Covenant and University Circle Carillonneur George Leggiero is on vacation today. Leggiero has provided carillon music before and after Sunday worship since 1973. His playing has also celebrated weddings and marked University Circle celebrations.
