A Ronald Barnes Sampler
A towering figure in the American carillon world, Ronald Barnes (1927-1997) was a scholar, composer, legendary performer and mentor to many. He was a skilled and creative arranger of music for carillon, but his originality and singular approach to music making on the carillon are truly evident in his many original compositions for the instrument. He held important carillonneur positions at the University of Kansas, the National Cathedral and the University of California
