Elisabeth Wang

Elisabeth Wang is the carillonist and organist at Central Christian Church in San Antonio, Texas. She first began playing bell instruments at Cornell University, where she served as a chimesmaster and graduated in May 2024 with honors in music and physics. She then studied at the Royal Carillon School “Jef Denyn” in Belgium through a grant from the Belgian American Educational Foundation and received her diploma in 2025. Elisabeth is currently pursuing a Master’s in Physics and a Graduate Performance Certificate in Music at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She recently placed 2nd in the William C. Hall Pipe Organ Competition. Outside of music, Elisabeth likes hiking and spending time with her dog.

The carillon can be heard from the grounds around the tower including the Case Western Reserve Campus behind the tower away from the Euclid Avenue traffic noise. Concerts are rain or shine and your car is also a place to hear the concert. Horn honking is an accepted form of applause at the end of the program.
